I'm an animal lover and can attest to Old McMickey's farm loving animals too… I absolutely love this place… It's beautiful and peaceful with a lake setting plus hayrides as well as the animals... they offer a lot and also do a lot of charity events for children and also military (weddings and other events)! A fantastic place, I take my nieces and nephew's there often and highly recommend!

I am sad to report the farm has gone downhill.

This was not my first trip to the farm. I use to rave about how much fun the kids and I had learning and exploring but this time I feel like I wasted $40 to walk around a farm. No customer service to speak of at all.

The poor cow is emaciated and tightly confined. It is more like a factory farm than an old time family run operation. The poor overworked pony was covered with flies. Piglets were born and no one went to check on the mother or babies. The chicken area makes me cringe just thinking about it. No supervision from the careless employees. Little kids picking up and dropping the chickens, chickens thrown about. Animal abuse, plain and simple. Feed your animals more, hire some people who actually like the animals, monitor the chickens and give the poor skinny cow and slow tired pony rest and space!!!! I left feeling horrible!

The “tour guide” was terrible. (I believe her name was Alitza* I don’t know for sure because she never said anything to us.) She never said anything about an animal on the farm. She didn’t ensure that all children got a turn to milk the cow or pick up a chicken.

Great place for the little ones where they can be hands on with some of the animals. I took my nieces and nephew. I just wish that we were able to stay longer. When your tour is over, that's it... you go home. It wasn't a long enough tour and If you want to go around again you have to pay full price. Other than that they had a blast.

When we went for the tractor ride there was no step stool for children or adults to use as it was very high! She started the tractor and accelerated without warning, luckily all small children were sitting but even adults jolted.

The front desk employees didn’t mention pony rides were not being given when we bought our tickets. (They weren’t dressed professionally either but that is on the owner for dress code enforcement.)

I love how hands on this farm is! I went with my son on his field trip and we all had a great time. He was able to touch horses , hold chickens, pet a pig, play with goats, and more.
